The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF)

The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) has officially opened applications for its flagship startup program: Pitch n Grow 2026.

If you are an African woman founder leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, this is your signal to step into the spotlight. Selected finalists will travel to Cape Town, South Africa, to pitch live before global investors, venture capitalists, and corporate executives during the AWIEF 2026 Conference on November 10–11, 2026.

The Core Theme: Deep Roots. Digital Futures.

This year’s theme highlights a powerful shift. Instead of importing generic technological frameworks from the West, Pitch n Grow 2026 challenges founders to ground their tech deeply in native African realities. The goal is to build digital solutions powered by a deep understanding of local community contexts, traditions, and structural challenges.
